Celera Group consultants understand the technology needs of healthcare organizations. From small physician practices to healthcare enterprises, our consultants can deliver results. American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH) are changing the US care delivery system unlike anything in our history. With a goal of improving patient safety, quality of care, and efficiency, while also managing cost, ARRA leverages technology to make this change possible. ARRA provides incentives for eligible care providers that attain “meaningful use” of certified electronic health records (EHR) systems. Providers that meet the meaningful use requirements can begin to receive incentives as early as 2012. To avoid penalties, providers must comply with the ARRA requirements by 2015.

Celera Group understands the requirements and timelines for responding to these initiatives and maximizing the incentives available to eligible providers. Using assessment instruments, Celera Group consultants can help identify your organizations current state and the gaps to address in getting you to meaningful use.

Each of the ARRA/HITECH initiatives, HIPAA 5010, ICD-10, and Meaningful Use, has a profound impact on your operations. Each is required between now and 2015 and each represents a significant financial investment. Each of these initiatives also relies heavily on information technology and clinical resources, all of whom are already fully committed. So how are you expected to manage the many tasks to be completed and know that you are moving toward compliance? With solid Project Management.
